Redness and ridges are normal.
Immediately after treatment, redness and unevenness of the treated area is often observed. They can last up to 2 hours or more. It is normal if the treated area feels like a sunburn for a few hours. If sensitivity persists, a cold compress should be used. If you have scabs, apply an antibiotic cream. Darkly pigmented skin is more uncomfortable than light skin and may last longer.
Clean the carefully treated area.
The treated area can be gently washed with mild soap. For the first 48 hours, tap the skin to dry it and do not rub it.
No makeup or lotion/moisturizer/deodorant for the first 24 hours.
